Benoît has been practicing auditing and tax accounting for many years and for a number of firms, both on management boards and in insolvency. His background includes audit work for both public and private corporations and projects for which he has offered advisory services.

Benoît has also been a lecturer for accounting and finance courses at HEC and UQAM. He has been working for Leger as the chief financial officer since 2003 and is actively involved in the company acquisition process.
