Le sondage explore \u00e9galement les perceptions des Am\u00e9ricains envers le Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00c9THODOLOGIE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce sondage web a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par L\u00e9ger, la plus importante firme de sondage et recherche marketing \u00e0 propri\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne, aupr\u00e8s d\u2019un \u00e9chantillon repr\u00e9sentatif <strong>de 1<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>2<\/strong><strong>02<\/strong><strong> Am\u00e9ricain(e)s <\/strong>de plus de 18 ans, dont <strong>1 041 <\/strong>\u00e9lecteurs inscrits, s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s \u00e0 partir du panel repr\u00e9sentatif LEO (Leger Opinion). \u00a0La cueillette des donn\u00e9es s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e entre le <strong>4<\/strong><strong> et le 7 ao\u00fbt 2020 <\/strong>\u00e0 l\u2019aide de la technologie d\u2019interview Web assist\u00e9e par ordinateur CAWI (Computer-assisted Web interviewing technology).\u00a0Les donn\u00e9es ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9es et pond\u00e9r\u00e9es par nos statisticiens en utilisant les variables de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence du recensement des \u00c9tats-Unis de 2010 selon le sexe, l\u2019\u00e2ge, la r\u00e9gion, l\u2019origine et la taille du m\u00e9nage afin de rendre l\u2019\u00e9chantillon repr\u00e9sentatif de la population g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une marge d\u2019erreur ne peut pas \u00eatre associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un \u00e9chantillon non probabiliste dans le cadre d\u2019une enqu\u00eate par panel. \u00c0 des fins de comparaison, un \u00e9chantillon probabiliste de cette taille aurait <strong>une marge d\u2019erreur de \u00b1 2,8%, et ce, 19 fois sur 20<\/strong> Les r\u00e9sultats pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans cette \u00e9tude sont conformes aux standards en mati\u00e8re de recherche sur l\u2019opinion publique et aux exigences de divulgation du CRIC (Conseil d\u2019intelligence et de recherche marketing canadien) et du r\u00e9seau mondial ESOMAR.
