Plusieurs \u00e9lections municipales ont eu lieu r\u00e9cemment (ou auront lieu prochainement) au Canada et aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Nous avons interrog\u00e9 des Canadien(ne)s et des Am\u00e9ricain(e)s pour conna\u00eetre leur point de vue sur la politique municipale, notamment sur la performance de leur maire ou mairesse <\/strong>et de leur conseil municipal ainsi que pour savoir s’ils souhaiteraient voir un(e) nouveau maire ou nouvelle mairesse et un nouveau conseil municipal aux prochaines \u00e9lections. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous avons \u00e9galement interrog\u00e9 des Canadien(ne)s sur leurs intentions de vote au niveau f\u00e9d\u00e9ral, compte tenu de la r\u00e9cente \u00e9lection de Pierre Poilievre<\/strong> \u00e0 la t\u00eate du Parti conservateur du Canada.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

POLITIQUE MUNICIPALE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  • Les Canadien(ne)s (51%) sont plus susceptibles que les Am\u00e9ricain(e)s (45%) de dire qu\u2019ils approuven<\/strong>t le travail de leur maire ou mairesse<\/strong> et du conseil municipal<\/strong> de leur municipalit\u00e9. Environ un tiers (32% des Canadien(ne)s et 34% des Am\u00e9ricain(e)s d\u00e9sapprouvent la fa\u00e7on dont ils font leur travail.<\/li>
  • 53% des Canadien(ne)s et 55% des Am\u00e9ricain(e)s disent que les choses ne vont ni mieux, ni moins bien <\/strong>depuis l\u2019\u00e9lection de leur maire ou de leur mairesse et du conseil municipal dans leur municipalit\u00e9.<\/li>
  • 41% des Canadien(ne)s et 38% des Am\u00e9ricain(e)s pr\u00e9f\u00e9reraient qu’un nouveau maire ou une nouvelle mairesse <\/strong>ainsi qu\u2019un nouveau conseil municipal <\/strong>soient \u00e9lus aux prochaines \u00e9lections.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    INTENTIONS DE VOTE F\u00c9D\u00c9RALES AU CANADA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    • Si des \u00e9lections f\u00e9d\u00e9rales canadiennes avaient lieu aujourd’hui, 33% des \u00e9lecteurs ou \u00e9lectrices canadien(ne)s d\u00e9cid\u00e9(e)s voteraient pour le Parti conservateur du Canada, suivi de 31% qui voteraient pour le Parti lib\u00e9ral du Canada et de 21% qui voteraient pour le Nouveau Parti d\u00e9mocratique du Canada.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      M\u00c9THODOLOGIE DU SONDAGE\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Sondage web r\u00e9alis\u00e9 du 7 au 10 octobre aupr\u00e8s de 1 534 Canadiens et 1 000 Am\u00e9ricains, \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 ans ou plus, recrut\u00e9s al\u00e9atoirement \u00e0 partir du panel en ligne LEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Une marge d\u2019erreur ne peut pas \u00eatre associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un \u00e9chantillon non probabiliste dans le cadre d\u2019un sondage par panel. \u00c0 des fins de comparaison, un \u00e9chantillon probabiliste de 1 534 r\u00e9pondants aurait une marge d\u2019erreur de \u00b1 2,50%, alors qu\u2019un \u00e9chantillon de 1 000 r\u00e9pondants en aurait une de \u00b13,09%, et ce, 19 fois sur 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
