Le sondage met en lumi\u00e8re un sentiment d\u2019inqui\u00e9tude marqu\u00e9 chez les Canadien\u00b7nes \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de la politique \u00e9trang\u00e8re am\u00e9ricaine et de ses r\u00e9percussions potentielles. L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la situation est \u00e9lev\u00e9 de part et d\u2019autre de la fronti\u00e8re.
Pr\u00e8s de deux Canadien\u00b7nes sur trois (65%<\/strong>) affirment suivre les d\u00e9veloppements impliquant les \u00c9tats-Unis et le Venezuela.<\/p>\n

Pour plusieurs, l\u2019intervention au Venezuela ne serait donc pas un cas isol\u00e9, mais le signe d\u2019un sch\u00e9ma plus large d\u2019ing\u00e9rence internationale.<\/p>\n

      La majorit\u00e9<\/strong> des Canadien\u00b7nes<\/strong> (53%<\/strong>) jugent que l\u2019op\u00e9ration am\u00e9ricaine constitue une atteinte grave \u00e0 la souverainet\u00e9 du Venezuela et menace l\u2019ordre international. \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, seulement 23%<\/strong> estiment que l\u2019intervention \u00e9tait justifi\u00e9e, notamment en raison de la corruption du r\u00e9gime Maduro<\/p>\n

      Le p\u00e9trole per\u00e7u comme motivation principale<\/h2>\n

      Une large proportion des r\u00e9pondant\u00b7es canadien\u00b7nes (63%<\/strong>) croit que la principale motivation de Washington \u00e9tait de prendre le contr\u00f4le des ressources p\u00e9troli\u00e8res du Venezuela.<\/p>\n

      Cette perception contribue \u00e0 un affaiblissement marqu\u00e9 de l\u2019image du gouvernement am\u00e9ricain au Canada, alors que 56%<\/strong> des Canadien\u00b7nes disent avoir une opinion plus n\u00e9gative des \u00c9tats-Unis depuis l\u2019intervention.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      M\u00e9thodologie<\/h3>\n

      Ce sondage en ligne a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de 1540 Canadien\u00b7nes et 1011 Am\u00e9ricain\u00b7es \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 ans et plus, entre le 9 et le 11 janvier 2026. Les r\u00e9pondants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recrut\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re al\u00e9atoire \u00e0 partir du panel en ligne LEO. Les r\u00e9sultats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pond\u00e9r\u00e9s selon l\u2019\u00e2ge, le genre, la r\u00e9gion, la langue, la scolarit\u00e9 et la composition du m\u00e9nage afin d\u2019assurer un \u00e9chantillon repr\u00e9sentatif de la population canadienne.<\/span><\/p>\n
