Au total, 45 % se disent ouverts, contre 55 % qui ne le sont pas. Chez les Canadiens de 18 \u00e0 24 ans, 64 % se disent ouverts \u00e0 essayer de nouveaux produits financiers offerts par des fintechs ou des acteurs 100 % num\u00e9riques. Chez les 65 ans et plus, cette proportion chute \u00e0 20 %. L\u2019\u00e9cart en soi n\u2019est pas surprenant, mais son ampleur est significative.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"629\">Deux r\u00e9alit\u00e9s d\u2019adoption tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes coexistent dans un m\u00eame march\u00e9. Certains sont \u00e0 l\u2019aise d\u2019apprendre par essais et erreurs, alors que d\u2019autres voient davantage le changement comme une source de risque.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"1028\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">C\u2019est souvent \u00e0 ce stade que les strat\u00e9gies d\u2019innovation commencent \u00e0 se d\u00e9connecter du march\u00e9. Trop souvent, on pense que les nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s vont se vendre d\u2019elles-m\u00eames et que les clients vont embarquer. Les Canadiens envoient plut\u00f4t le signal inverse : l\u2019innovation doit gagner sa l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9. C\u2019est encourageant, mais ce n\u2019est qu\u2019une partie du portrait. Les 39 % qui disent non ne sont pas \u00e0 ignorer. Dans un domaine bas\u00e9 sur la confiance, ce niveau de scepticisme peut freiner l\u2019adoption et nuire \u00e0 l\u2019impact des nouvelles initiatives avant m\u00eame qu\u2019elles ne s\u2019installent.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"411\" data-end=\"788\">Cette tension se fait surtout sentir chez les 45 \u00e0 54 ans, o\u00f9 46 % estiment que les banques ne suivent pas le rythme. Ce sont des clients qui jonglent avec plusieurs produits, des priorit\u00e9s multiples et la complexit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re du quotidien. Leurs attentes viennent directement de leur r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Si l\u2019innovation ne leur simplifie pas la vie, elle ne sera pas per\u00e7ue comme utile.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"790\" data-end=\"1085\">Les diff\u00e9rences r\u00e9gionales ont aussi leur importance. Au Qu\u00e9bec, 57 % des r\u00e9pondants disent que les banques suivent le rythme, contre 63 % dans le reste du Canada. Le march\u00e9 canadien a ses propres codes et particularit\u00e9s. Cela demande une approche bilingue d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part, sensible aux r\u00e9alit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales et \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on dont la confiance se forge au fil des habitudes financi\u00e8res quotidiennes.
