YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify business opportunities, respond to RFPs, supervise the creation of and present service proposals to elicit opportunities for discussion
  • Maintain and expand the scope of existing client mandates by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
  • Develop new client accounts, year after year
  • Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with clients by demonstrating knowledge, understanding and expertise in their industry
  • Bring the division’s research reports to a more strategic level
  • Manage strategic, large-scale or complex projects, including making strategic recommendations, writing reports and providing expert advice to clients
  • Ensure that the division meets billing and profitability objectives
  • Establish project budgets in collaboration with the Operations VP
  • Play an active role in coaching and training division members
  • Create and maintain a dynamic work environment through enthusiastic and open

  • Provide constructive feedback to division members and members from other departments
  • Ensure that each person develops according to his or her skills and abilities

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Requirements

  • University degree (Master’s level preferred)
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry as a consultant or market/strategic research professional
  • Proficient with computer tools: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook), SPSS/Stat XP, Sawtooth, etc.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques: segmentation, MaxDiff, factor analysis, multiple regression, conjoint analysis, etc.
  • Advanced skills in writing strategic reports and presentations
  • Proven expertise in project management or working on complex mandates for clients
