YOUR ROLE AS A VICE-PRESIDENT
- Bring new accounts into the division and manage the full acquisition process
- Manage key client accounts

They will be responsible for developing strategies aimed at increasing the company’s business.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Generating sales in line with objectives and targets from any accounts brought in and new clients
- Bringing new accounts to Leger, including identifying business opportunities
- Responding to RFPs, supervising and presenting detailed service proposals
- Maintaining and expanding the scope of existing client relationships by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
- Ensuring that the division meets sales, billings and profitability objectives
Research Intelligence & Client Management
- Demonstrating a solid grasp of the market research industry and its impact on the company’s business and customers
- A thorough understanding of the clients’ needs, expectations and requirements
- Managing strategic, large-scale or complex projects, including making strategic recommendations, writing reports and providing expert advice to clients
- Establishing and maintaining a relationship of trust with clients by demonstrating knowledge, understanding and expertise in their industry
- Ability to think beyond the data
- Ensuring quality control of the team’s work and adherence to agreed timelines
- Acting as the client’s research or strategic consultant before, during and after any project
- Continuously broadening knowledge and expertise in your field of expertise
- Ensuring a long-term vision of your field of expertise
- Developing new research solutions
Team Leadership
- Guiding directors in growing their customer portfolios and client relationships
- Active coaching of team members, including mentoring on research techniques
- Optimizing resources by leveraging skills and knowledge available across Leger’s offices
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Requirements
- University (bachelor’s or master’s degree) preferably in a business-related subject or MBA
- At least ten (10) years of experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry as a consultant or market/strategic research professional
- Proven ability to bring in business and significantly grow accounts, within U.S. CPG clients
- Concrete experience managing a results-driven team in a comparable industry
- Extensive hands-on experience with research techniques and advanced analytic solutions
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques: segmentation, MaxDiff, factor analysis, multiple regression, conjoint analysis, etc.
