Barry joined Leger’s Edmonton office in 1999. His areas of specialization include: stakeholder consultations, corporate reputation and branding, communications, government research, service quality, competitive analysis, customer loyalty and satisfaction, product development, consumer habits and purchasing behaviour, program evaluation and employee engagement.
In 2019, he obtained his Certified Analytics and Insights Professional (CAIP) designation, replacing the Certified Marketing Research Professional (CMRP) designation he first obtained in 2008. He is a member of the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2), the Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC) and the Advertising Club of Edmonton (ACE), and a past President of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA). He has completed formal professional development training from MRIA, IAP2 and the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES). He has authored presentations and articles that have been featured in periodicals and at conferences and other events. Barry is a regularly scheduled guest speaker at post-secondary institutions.
