President, Leger Analytics
Dr. Chuck Chakrapani is the president of Leger Analytics, as well as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management. Previous positions he has held include president of the Professional Marketing Research Society (forerunner of the MRIA), editor-in-chief of the Canadian Journal of Marketing Research and Marketing Research, and CEO of Millward Brown Canada, in addition to academic appointments at the London Business School in England and the University of Liverpool.
Chuck is a member of the board of directors of the Marketing Research Institute International (affiliated with the University of Georgia). He is a founding director of the Certified Analytics and Insights Professionals of Canada (CAIP) and of the Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC). He is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and of the Canadian Research Insights Council (FCRIC) for his “outstanding contributions to research in Canada” (original citation). He has authored more than 10 books and 500 articles on market research, statistics and analytics. His latest book is Practical Marketing Research (2020). He also serves on Leger’s Academic Committee.
