Tim is an associate vice-president at Leger’s Vancouver office. He joined Leger in 2019 as part of the acquisition of NRG Research Group, where he worked from 2011-2019. Tim has over 25 years of experience in solving business problems through research and providing actionable consumer and customer insights. He has worked on both the supplier and client sides for various organizations including Alida (formerly Vision Critical), Coast Capital Savings, Destination BC and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).
During his time as a client, Tim developed first-hand knowledge of how to fully understand business objectives and effectively translate research results into corporate strategy and meaningful actions. He especially enjoys helping clients identify the “what”, “so what”, and “now what” of research findings. As a supplier, he has worked with a number of high-profile business clients in Canada and the United States. Tim is a skilled and versatile researcher who works on a broad range of projects including customer satisfaction research, brand and corporate reputation measurement, usage and attitude studies, product development and testing and public opinion polls. He is also an experienced qualitative interviewer and focus group moderator, having conducted numerous one-on-one interviews and online and in-person focus groups for a variety of clients including retailers, government and packaged goods companies.
Tim holds a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Victoria.
