As you likely already know, Leger has acquired SmartPoint Research and I have joined the LEO (Leger Opinion) team. As the former president of SmartPoint Research, I would like to take a moment to let you know what this means for you as one of our valued clients and share some information about LEO’s service offering.
What does this acquisition mean for you?
You’ll be able to work with the same researchers from the SmartPoint Research team, supplemented by increased operational capabilities, the latest cutting-edge technologies, and the largest proprietary panel in Canada. My role here will be to help build and expand the LEO team in Toronto.
What are some of the advantages of working with LEO?

A quality panel is crucial for delivering accurate, reliable data. Our business is accuracy, and our LEO panel has over 400,000 members in North America. 2. Accurate Results
The LEO panel has a long history of being used for public opinion research on a wide variety of topics. We were the most accurate polling firm for the 2019 Canadian federal election and the 2020 British Columbia and New Brunswick provincial elections. In addition, we were also one of the most accurate polling firms for the 2020 US presidential election. This accuracy reflects the calibre of our team and the quality of our panel.
3. The Mobile-First LEO Platform
Our panelists can answer surveys 24/7/365 from their desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone, using their web browser or our LEO app. The LEO app is free and available on iOS and Android. To date, it has been downloaded more than 150,000 times.
4. Extensive Operational Capabilities
Our entire operational infrastructure is in-house, meaning we don’t need to outsource or offshore our work. For each project you work on with LEO, you’ll have a dedicated project manager. We have three call centres (in Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Montreal), and have our own teams in:

Prior to the acquisition, SmartPoint Research partnered with LEO on a few occasions for quantitative projects, so we got to experience working with the LEO team firsthand. I’m thrilled to now be a part of this team and look forward to continuing to assist you.
