Dave has worked with Leger since 2000. He is an executive vice-president and partner and is responsible for Leger’s Toronto office. Dave became an accredited public relations professional (APR) in 2020.
Dave has worked in communication research for his whole career and is proud to have launched Leger’s Public Relations research division in 2001. Dave is an expert on research relating to reputation management, crisis preparedness and media surveys and has extensive expertise completing research across all communication channels, including internal communications, content marketing, media analysis, messaging strategy and evaluation.
Dave is skilled at both quantitative and qualitative research and has taught seminars on survey design and focus group moderation. He has written chapters on research methods in two public relations textbooks and has taught research methods as an adjunct professor at McMaster University and in Syracuse University’s joint Masters of Communications Management program since 2008.
Dave is a board trustee at the Institute for Public Relations and is a past president of the Canadian Public Relations Society’s Toronto Chapter.
Dave is available as a Leger media spokesperson or conference panelist on topics related to reputation, public opinion and communications research.
