Heather joined Leger in 2019 as part of the acquisition of NRG Research Group. Today she is a vice-president at Leger, acting as both co-leader of the Vancouver team and the general manager for Leger’s English-speaking offices.
Heather works closely with research teams to ensure that they have the resources required to ensure every client project has customized research plans that provide the most valuable insights possible. She is passionate about the research industry and is always exploring how advanced analytics, visualization and technology can enhance projects.
Heather is one of Leger’s media spokespeople, and also co-authors regular opinion editorials for the Vancouver Sun.
Prior to Leger and NRG, Heather spent more than 25 years with Canadian blue-chip companies, leading marketing, communications, sponsorship, philanthropy, government relations and media relations teams. Notably, she was instrumental in RBC’s sponsorship of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and establishing the RBC GranFondo cycling events – bringing the first mass cycling events to Canada.
As a leader in the community, Heather is a director of Arts Umbrella, a non-profit art school for young people.
