The year 2020 will remain a milestone for all generations, including millennials and Generation Z.

At Leger, we wanted to understand how 2020 will influence Generation Z and millennials in the coming year and beyond.

2020 has been difficult for many, but for others, it has been an opportunity to question themselves, take a stand on different issues, adopt new habits, and make significant changes in their lives. Leger wanted to understand what changes young people are making, and how these changes will impact their lives.

We wanted to find answers to this simple question: what does it mean to be a young person in 2021?

REPORT THE YOUTH STUDY, CREATED BY LEGER

In this report, we have analyzed the responses of more than 3,000 Canadian millennials and members of Generation Z. We asked them 50 questions about their perceptions of the future, COVID-19, their mental health, their relationship with digital technology, their activism, and the management of their finances.
