Federal Voting Intentions – January 26, 2022

January 1, 1970

SURVEY METHODOLOGY

On behalf of The Canadian Press, a web survey was conducted among 1,525 Canadians, 18 years of age or older, randomly recruited from the LEO online panel.

Data collection took place from January 21 to 23, 2022, via Computer-Assisted Web Interviewing technology (CAWI).

A margin of error cannot be associated with a non-probability sample in a panel survey. For comparison purposes, a probability sample of this size would have a margin of error ±2.51%, 19 times out of 20.

Using 2016 Census reference variables, the Canadian data was weighted by gender, age, mother tongue, region, education level and presence of children in households.
