Simon has been with Leger since 2008 and currently holds the position of executive vice-president of Leger’s U.S. office. 

Simon has worked with 29 different U.S. state lotteries on research projects over the past 20 years, plus work with Scientific Games, IGT and Intralot. He has recently worked with the Oregon, D.C. and Montana Lotteries on their sports betting launches. 

As a senior member of Leger’s consulting team, Simon provides high-level strategic advice and the very best in client services.  His two decades of extensive quantitative and qualitative research experience includes a focus on customer satisfaction, sales force effectiveness, concept testing, conjoint analysis, longitudinal attitude and usage tracking studies and especially segmentation studies. 

In the past five years alone, Simon has presented research findings and strategic advice to the Colorado, New Jersey, (Washington) D.C., Kentucky, Ohio, California, Virginia and Arkansas Lotteries. On the Gaming side, Simon has conducted research in sixteen different global markets, including countries as diverse as Germany, Colombia, Italy, Czech Republic, England, Peru, South Africa, the Philippines and The Netherlands. 

Simon is also a media spokesperson at Leger. In addition, he is regularly asked to speak at NASPL conferences and events and regularly contributes to the NASPL Insights magazine. 

Originally from Manchester, England, Simon has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies, majoring in marketing, from the Liverpool Business School (JMU).
