- Two-thirds (65%) of B.C. parents of school-age children think that B.C. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry effectively communicated plans for the 2020-2021 school year.
SURVEY METHODOLOGY
- A total of 146 online surveys were conducted among British Columbia parents with school-age children via Leger’s online panel, LEO. The surveys were conducted from September 18-20, 2020.
- As a non-random internet survey, a margin of error is not reported. If the data were collected through a random sample, the margin of error would be ±7.5%, 19 times out of 20.
- Using data from the 2016 Census, results were weighted according to age, gender and region in order to ensure a representative sample of the population.
