In collaboration with The Atlantic, Leger regularly surveys Americans about a variety of topical issues and current events. From September 24 to 26, 2021, we explored their perspectives about birth control and abortions.
This survey asked Americans:
- if they currently use an IUD or implant for birth control (among those who could become pregnant)
- if they would consider getting an IUD or implant if birth control is further restricted in their state (among those who could become pregnant)
- their awareness of Aid Access, Plan C, Carafem or Abortion on Demand
- their perspectives on the safest option for pregnant women who decide to have an abortion in the first trimester (among those who live in states where abortions are impossible)
- and more
