Leger Launches Leger University

14 October 2020

Montreal, October 14, 2020 – Leger is proud to announce the official launch of Leger University, its internal training program that enables all employees to improve their personal and professional knowledge and continue to evolve within the company.

Leger University will offer three programs: the Academic Committee (led by Dave Scholz, Executive Vice-President), the mentorship program, and the continuing education program.

Leger is honoured to partner with the many distinguished professors who are members of its Academic Committee. Dr. Terence Flynn, Dr. Jacques Nantel, Dr. Alan Middleton, Dr. Chuck Chakrapani, Dr. Guy LaChapelle, Dr. Anna Goldhahn, Dr. Daniel Voth, Dr. Noni MacDonald and Dr. Marcus Cunha Jr. will share their knowledge with the Leger team through a series of webinars offered in the coming year.

The mentorship program is a personalized solution wherein an employee who wants to improve and further develop their skills (mentee) is paired with an experienced expert (mentor) within the company. It is focused on providing employees with the knowledge and personal development tools they need to succeed.

Finally, the continuing education program will involve a series of training courses tailored to meet everyone’s needs. Provided by experts within the company, these courses aim to enable Leger’s employees in all eight offices to enhance their professional skills based on their respective positions.

“We are proud to implement this program, which allows Leger employees to improve their skills, share internal expertise, and above all, continue to develop within the company. Our employees are our greatest asset,” said Véronique M. Lippinghof, Human Resources Director.

The courses for the Fall 2020 session will begin on October 13 and continue until mid-December 2020.
