SPRING BREAK

  • Canadians are divided on whether spring break should proceed at the same time as it usually does (31%), be cancelled (29%), or be postponed to a later date (27%) where they live.
  • Americans are also fairly split: 31% think it should proceed as usual, 32% think it should be cancelled, and 17% think it should be postponed.
  • 8% of Canadians and 18% of Americans indicate that they or someone in their household plan(s) to travel during spring break.

METHODOLOGY

This web survey was conducted from February 12, 2021 to February 14, 2021 with 1,535 Canadians and 1,002 Americans, 18 years of age or older, randomly recruited from LEO’s online panel.

For comparison, a probability sample of 1,535 respondents would have a margin of error of ±2.50%, 19 times out of 20, while a probability sample of 1,002 would have a margin of error of ±3.09%, 19 times out of 20.
